Visions Of Chaos Trouble Shooting The vast majority of people who use Visions Of Chaos do not experience bugs or problems, but some people do. Visions Of Chaos is fairly "bullet proof" against errors, but sometimes a unique configuration can cause problems. I have always wanted Visions Of Chaos to be an application that a total chaos novice could use to make "pretty pictures", so any feedback on features that do not work as you expect is appreciated. There have been many times when suggestions from people have helped improve Visions Of Chaos, so let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas. Startup problems First step; exit Visions Of Chaos, delete the chaos.ini file and restart Visions Of Chaos. This fixes 99% of startup problems due to a corrupt INI file. If you still experience problems after deleting the chaos.ini file let me know. Other errors If you notice that something does not work as expected I would be very interested in hearing about the bug. If you can, the following is VERY helpful in tracking down a problem. A report of a series of steps to recreate a problem from loading Visions Of Chaos to when the bug/error appears makes it much easier for me to track down the cause of the problem. eg A report of "I was using the XYZ mode and Visions Of Chaos hung" is far less helpful than a series of steps that I can use to reproduce the error. If I know exactly what you did to cause the problem it makes it much easier for me to eliminate the bug in the next version.
